There is something so particularly validating when someone talented and creative, not to mention oozing elegance, loves and buys something that you have made! Cristina tells us how her ring helped her through lockdown.

Judith tells us why she loves her little cowrie shell earrings. The original cowrie I cast was given to me by a friend of a friend, a family who spent a lot of their childhood on the beach collecting cowries and other shells.

I love all the cast pieces I have been able to make over the years. Some of them needed a touch of magic to work, and the hydrangea charm is one of these.

One of my personal favourites to send out is the Oak leaf. It came out so prettily - not a word I normally associate with the Oak. Sarah wanted to contribute here with her particular connection to the oak, and she even sites my favourite quote about the oak which I can never hear enough!

These little spiral shell necklaces are the sweetest, with the pattern extending all around. I wanted to hear from Linda as this design is quite new, and she added an initial to hers making it unique and special to her.

Jennifer runs a creative business and creative blog. She says “I love anything creative and also knit, sew my own clothes, dabble in embroidery and cross stitch, and have a list of all kinds of crafts I want to try “ I met Jennifer at the Handmade Festival  a few years ago and she was taken with the precious stones rainbow necklace, if you head over to her instagram page you will understand why!

Jane is a fellow nature lover, a keen gardener - roses and wildflowers especially, and family is central to her life. She stopped by my stall when I was exhibiting at the Country Living Fair a few years ago to say hello and has become a regular customer. She tells a particularly lovely story here about the bird on a branch necklace she chose and what makes it special to her and her extended family.

I love making leaf rings, there is something so satisfying about the way the leaf curls around the finger. I put the silver leaf on my mandrel and use a soft hammer to curl it around. The veins remain beautifully visible in all their detail - its a great way to showcase one of natures evolved masterpieces, that we all see all around us though often take for granted. My customer Ana Alicia writes about how her ring keeps her connected with nature and the joy it brings her.
