One of the loveliest things about doing fairs and events is that you get to meet people with like minded interests and tastes. I am not an embroiderer though Cristina stopped by my stall and fell in love with the rose gold fern ring. There is something so particularly validating when someone talented and creative, not to mention oozing elegance, loves and buys something that you have made! Cristina tells us how her ring helped her through lockdown.

Cristina is an Italian embroiderer living in Lago Maggiore, Italy. She is an elegant and creative woman with an incredible talent for embroidery. See below for a link to her instagram page which is very inspiring and filled with beauty.
“My name is Cristina and I’m Italian. I love flowers, leaves, plants, gardens, woods... And my main activity is hosting workshops in my little atelier where I teach how to create little botanical embroideries. Here you can take your time stitching, drinking tea and eating homemade healthy cakes (hence the name Embroidery Therapy!).
I came across Kate on Instagram and immediately liked the subjects of her delicate jewellery... then I had to chance to meet her and her creations at Hampton Court last September, where I literally fell in love with a golden rose fern ring, which I cannot part from since then... During these long lock-down months, wearing my ring helped me to feel connected with England country side which I adore and I’ve been missing so much! (I live in northern Italy).
