Customer Stories… Gabrielle Treanor
I love all the cast pieces I have been able to make over the years. Some of them needed a touch of magic to work, and the hydrangea charm is one of these. I took a dried hydrangea petal and enhanced the back so it was strong enough for casting. Even if I say so myself, the result was rather gorgeous. The details remained in tact and retain the delicacy of the petal, though it is robust enough to last forever. Gabrielle appreciated it too and says its one of her favourite flowers and asked me to add it to a bangle. Here is what she had to say:

“I met Kate at Emily Quinton’s Makelight retreat a few years ago and spotted the beautiful jewellery she was wearing. When she told me that they were her own designed and created pieces, and explained to me how she’s inspired by and uses nature to make each item, I just fell in love with them. It was my birthday the next month and I bought a silver bangle with a hydrangea petal because hydrangeas are one of my favourite flowers. I love wearing it, and it still looks just as good now as when Kate first sent it to me.
When I get compliments on the bangle I tell them all about Kate and her nature inspired and crafted jewellery. It’s one of my favourite and most treasured pieces of jewellery because of knowing Kate as well as how beautiful it is.”
