Vines grow all over the world, Celtic druids believed they symbolised regeneration, opportunity and connection and fertility. The Sumerians used it as their symbol of life. Baccus and Dionysis drank wine as libation to the gods. In early Christianity, the vine was considered sacred and symbolic of bounty. It’s a lovely gift for a wine lover or gardener.
